Daniel Aharonoff, a prolific technology investor and entrepreneur was born in Pforzheim West Germany on July 4, 1970. At a young age his family moved to Bel Air California where he spent time walking his German Shepard “Mike” down the street from Johnny Carson, Burt Reynolds, Loni Anderson & Jerry Lewis among many other of Hollywood’s elite.
Daniel Aharonoff had a learning disorder now labeled as ‘dyslexia’ which made it extremely difficult to focus or learn like regular students might, as he entered Hillel Hebrew Academy for grade school and then Y.U.L.A for high school. Daniel Aharonoff found his calling in his early 20’s in the technology sector.
Daniel Aharonoff spent much time on his Radio Shack TRS-80 learning how to program in “Basic” and the early variants of the Internet such as “Compuserve”. These were the basic building blocks that at a later age would become the cornerstones of his career.
After getting married in 1995 he started his first start-up “VideoDome Networks”, a middleware online video platform provider. He very quickly drew the attention and advised and collaborated with many major movie & television studios such as Walt Disney, MGM, Warner Brothers, SONY Pictures and ABC & NBC television.
Daniel Aharonoff became the ‘go to guy‘ for digital media planning and execution and was asked to take on interim Chief Digital Officer roles for back then Haim Saban and Rupert Murdoch joint-venture, FoxKids & Fox Family channels. It is there where he spearheaded the full digital strategy for the kids network over the course of a year.
At around this time in early 2000 Daniel Aharonoff met the now well known Mark Cuban, a friendship formed and while they both moved in different paths they like to reminisce about the early days of streaming video.
In the course of the last 20 years Daniel Aharonoff has had a number of senior roles at digital media companies, he has developed core strategies and has collaborated with industry’s icons & major brands & some of the world’s largest entertainment and consumer goods brands and advertisers.
